Lenten Project: New Beginnings Baskets
Arise! Get up, get going, and go with God!
“Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me.’” Matt 25:40
GSACRD schools are invited to participate in a Lenten challenge to gift 100 New Beginnings Baskets to vulnerable youth transitioning to independent living after finding success in Catholic Social Services' programs.
Our Catholic Schools recognize that every person, no matter their circumstance, is deserving of love and support. These baskets will help the youth establish themselves in their new homes as they continue to build healthy lives, and thrive independently.
For $150, each New Beginnings Baskets will include a number of necessary items for youth in their first homes, including blankets, sheets, pillows, and pillowcases, a phone charger, grocery or Easter dinner card, towels and face cloths, dish towels and dish rags, a toaster, and cutlery.
How many New Beginnings Basket can your team provide for vulnerable youth?
